DO the people of Southampton really want a dead fish look-alike memorial of the Spitfire to commemorate R J Mitchell? I think it is more of an insult. Why do we have to copy other people's ideas? Isn't there anyone capable of designing a decent tribute to both the designer and the brave men who flew the Spitfire?
