I'm comforted to hear that Cllr Kelsie Learney is so relaxed about the imminent closure of Dinghams because “Winchester has a low number of empty shops compared to other towns”.
I hope the people who have lost their livelihoods at Next, Debenhams, Eat Drink and Be, Slug and Lettuce, The Cornish Pasty Shop, Reflex, Cheltenham and Gloucester BS, Pure Home, Carphone Warehouse, Age UK, The News Shop, and about half the Brook Centre, will be equally comforted.
