I HAVE been reading the letters relating to the decision by Solent Blue Line to discontinue the Rocket C service to Chandler's Ford.
My husband and I are senior citizens and use the bus several times a week. I think it is disgusting that this service should be taken off as for many people it is their only lifeline to shops/doctors/dentists etc.
Rather than discontinue surely consideration could be given to say running just one bus each way per hour. Most of the time this would adequate although from experience at other times it would not.
One thing that is certain is that Solent Blue Line and HCC should get together to find a way out of this situation without taking the drastic actions suggested.
