IN response to the letter from Claire Lamont (January 21), I find it very sad that people still look down at single parents and assume they live on microwave meals. I know many families both single and paired that use ready meals, there is no connection or pattern that I can see. It is very narrow minded to assume that one type of family shops in a particular way.
