I UNDERSTAND that Cobbett Road library is in line to suffer serious cuts in opening hours.
Last year the then Lib Dem Southampton City Council wanted to close it completely but the public fought to keep it open and we were sucsessful with the help of the Conservatives. Now one year later they seem to have a change of mind. Why is this?
I understand that these cuts do not form any part of the Labour group's thinking and they had better not because then all three groups would have sold us down the river.
