Well the Tory assassins did what they do best - the same MPs who voted for Boris knowing his faults warts and all.
So did the great British people who gave him a thumping majority.
And as for the Liberal leader decrying Boris for the deputy chief whip appointment - must have a memory loss for a more serious serial misconduct carried out by the late Cyril Smith who abused young boys, which they failed to act on possibly at that point he was a very popular politician.
Do we ask too much of elected representatives?
After all they are human. I trust whoever takes over from Boris, especially those who sat at his top table, how can they carry on helping having initiated his demise and depose him yet carry on, on Boris mandate?
Will I vote Tory again? Yes on the basis our local MP Royston Smith is hardworking for Southampton.
If there is a Tory cull at the next General Election I hope it is the repeated Tory backstabbers who lose their seats.
Everyone will have their view - we all knew Boris’s flaws but he spoke up for this great country.
