THE Daily Echo (March 15) called biker Alexander Bell's cocking a snook at the law by obscuring his numberplate from a speed camera "cheeky''. Hardly that, wouldn't one say?

A whining appeal from the rider as he languiishes in jail for six months plus six points on his licence and disqualified for six months seems adequate, although I doubt whether it will cure his attitude to the laws, especially as he has a previous record of traffic and insurance offences.

Since he also posed a danger to other road users he should thank his lucky stars that he was stopped by the police before he could finish up in far worse trouble. Think about that, deeply, lad!
