IT is imperative that Southampton City Council installs a pedestrian crossing in Lordswood Road at the crossroads with Dale Valley Road and Dunkirk Road.
Residents have been risking their lives attempting to cross and have petitioned me to take action.
Drivers leaving Dunkirk Road have their vision restricted from oncoming traffic from the left due to a tall hedge.
Lordswood Road at this point is dangerous there and drivers should be made aware by way of appropriate road markings.
