Majority was incorrect THE Daily Echo likes to be accurate with its reporting, especially when it comes to local election results. When it comes to majorities I'm sure you can more than understand how important these things are to us in local politics.
That's why I was more than surprised that you got the majority so wrong in reporting the Coxford Ward result. Not only was it incorrect in the newspaper but it was also wrong on the website.
The majority was 32, not 130, With the best will in the world I cannot sit by and allow you or anyone else to give an extra 100 votes to the Tories.
COUNCILLOR DON THOMAS, Labour member for Coxford, Southampton City Council.
Cllr Thomas is corect and our original report did add 100 to the Tory total in error, for which we apologise - editor.
