ON Monday, April 21, I parked my car at the entrance to Harold Close, Totton late that night.
The next day I realised I did not have my handbag. After a fruitless search I gave up on it and cancelled my cash cards.
That evening a very kind gentleman gave my handbag to my sister-in-law who was just going out to her car. Apparently, I had left my bag on my bonnet and the gentleman had picked it up on his way to work. That evening he went in search of the owner of the burgundy car.
I would like to say a heart-felt thank you for rescuing my handbag. The irony is that during Monday night, unfortunately the van parked in the driveway opposite my car was stolen. The van thief did not notice my handbag on my car bonnet!
So again thank you to the resident of Harold Close.
