GORDON Brown (report, March 31) tells church leaders he understands the pain which the recession is causing. Of course he does! He helped create it.
Was it not Mr Brown recklessly gambling on the public finances over the last 12 years which has saddled the next generation with catastrophic levels of debt?
The general election really cannot come too soon.
