I JUST read the feature about Jean Wilding achieving her NVQ level 2 at the age of 83.
I would like to add my congratulations not just because she’s an inspiration to us all – which she is – but on a personal level for the care she gives my own mother at Basingfield Court.
The care home is blessed with many lovely and dedicated staff and Jean is one of the absolute treasures.
She is always supportive and kindly – a loving person whose cheeriness brightens the day. Well done and thank you Jean.
