SOMEONE took my jade green, long, crook-handled umbrella from the restaurant in John Lewis in WestQuay, which, unfortunately, I left under a bench seat, on Tuesday, July 12. If I remember rightly, there were only mature people in there at the time.
Whenever you use it, I trust you will have a guilty conscience knowing it was of great sentimental value to a 78-year-old lady.
It only cost £5 many years ago which I would gladly give to you if you were good enough to return it to the John Lewis lost property office, or any police station. I can not believe someone could be so unfeeling as to not consider another person’s feelings.
What a selfish world we live in.
