WITH reference to the strike by the Southampton City Council workers I was wondering when the council are going to deport them to Australia?
If I remember that the Tolpuddle Martyrs were deported by their employers for refusing to take a cut in wages and going on strike and then bringing them back because they were wrong in doing so.
There is only one problem, if they are deported they may not want to come back as Australia might be a better place to live, as Southampton is not the best place to live.
