IN common with other unimpressed correspondents, including the one from New Zealand, I am unhappy with the way the way-out designed Sea City museum is being tacked on to Southampton’s 80-yearold Civic Centre without any apparent thought of how the two will blend with one another when the project is completed.
Thankfully red bricks were not chosen for the museum’s construction.
Seriously, though, I feel it would have been much better if a separate site had been found for it, leaving the Civic Centre completely unchanged.
