I WAS moved to write after seeing the picture of St Mary’s stadium at sunrise, sent in by Reuben Porter-Brown (Daily Echo, December 6). His picture shows off our great stadium, but I think we should be ashamed of the state of the approaches to the ground on its north side.
The gas-holders are rusty and the railway bridge and walkway shabby.
Would it not be possible to paint the gasholders in the Saints’ red and white? I for one would be willing to contribute to a paint fund.
