VOLUNTEER collectors who help Macmillan Cancer Support were in the Bitterne Precinct in Southampton on Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19 and received the same support from the public as always.

This year our collection raised the sum of £846.67 which is slightly below our normal amount but it shows that many people still think that Macmillan is a cause worth supporting.

We have not yet decided what our main priorities are this year so this amount will go to the general fund which is to help those families whose lives are affected by cancer.

If there is anybody who feels that they would like to help us please give me a ring on 023 8055 4238 and we will make you a welcome member of our band of collectors.
