CLITHEROE Cobras will represent the Ribblesdale League after beating Edenfield in the Under 13s Cup final.
Home team Edenfield won the toss and opted to bat but the Cobras opening attack of Jamie Scorah and Charlie Dewhurst exploited with bounce and seam movement and scoring was tough going for the Edenfield openers.
But it was the introduction of spin master Eli Smith that did the damage as he grabbed a quickfire four wickets for the loss of one run.
Edenfield never recovered and were bowled out for 20.
In reply, the Cobras innings got off to a solid if not spectacular reply but openers George Poole and Matt Neilson guided them to a comprehensive 10-wicket victory.
The Ribble Valley outfit will now represent the Ribblesdale League in the County stages of the competition.
