What makes a house a home and why does it matter so much?
Savills has launched a new series called Moving Stories, at savills.co.uk/blog, to explore the complex relationship between home and homeowner.
Moving Stories is a collection of funny, sad and bittersweet personal reflections on moving out, moving in and moving on.
And each week, the eminent psychologist Professor Sir Cary Cooper CBE will be writing on a range of topics, from why our childhood homes have such a strong emotional pull to just what it is that makes a house a home.
Savills is inviting people to submit their own Moving Stories, and will donate £50 to Dreams Come True for every one that is published. A donation will also be made for every story submitted for consideration.
