LADIES from Winchester's Inner Wheel are undertaking 100 good deeds to mark 100 years of the international organisation.
The Inner Wheel Winchester meets on the second and fourth Monday of the month at Winchester Racquets and Fitness Club, in Bereweeke Road.
Members enjoy friendship, as well as social events and meetings with a speaker. They fundraise for chosen home and international charities.
They are currently undertaking 100 good deeds to mark 100 years of the Inner Wheel by donating to food banks, visiting nursing homes and knitting blankets for causes such as the war in Ukraine.
Maureen Chisnell, club correspondent, said the group had recently helped the foodbank, and had assembled more then 100 items, donated by club members, and delivered them to the Winchester Basics Bank.
The Winchester group recently held a coffee morning at Rick Stein's restaurant in Winchester and raised £250 for the Ellern Mede Eating Disorder Treatment Clinic to help pay for a sensory garden to provide respite for visiting family of patients.
