ABOUT 120 young dancers will be taking part in Flourish at Worcester’s Swan Theatre.
The performance on Sunday, February 26, is part of Elevator, the youth dance network for Herefordshire and Worcestershire developed by Dancefest to provide children and young people with information about dance classes and workshops, performance opportunities and progression routes.
The dancers range in age from six to 23. Three regional youth dance companies will be performing: W’ire Youth Dance Company and DFY Dance Company from Worcester and Elevate Youth Dance Company from Hereford.
Clare Wood, youth dance coordinator for Dancefest said: “Flourish is a great opportunity for young dancers from across the two counties to perform in a theatre.”
