THE vibrant world of watercolour painting was brought to life at a meeting of Fordingbridge Art Club (FAC) this month.
Members, along with a few visitors, enjoyed two hours of brilliant demonstration and advice from watercolour artist Jake Winkle.
The two pictures he painted, an otter's head and a zebra, took him little more than 20 minutes each while his audience looked on in awe.
A natural communicator, the club said he offered a great deal of advice and responded readily to questions.
His explanation of how to establish a limited but still colourful palette was, by itself, of great value to all his audience.
Jake will return on April 18, at 10am, to run a workshop.
