A man was "brutally" assaulted by three men in an alcohol-fuelled attack.
The attack, described by a witness as "atrocious", happened in Armfield Crescent, Mitcham, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Ambulance crews were called to the scene at about 3.30am where a man in his 40s was treated and taken to hospital as a priority.
One man was arrested following the attack.
Police said the man's injuries were not serious.
