CHILDREN have interviewed panto stars from York Theatre Royal for an article in their next school newspaper.
Budding reporters in Huntington Primary School’s Year 5 were preparing for the next edition of their newspaper The Buzz, which they will sell to parents, said teacher and newspaper editor Rachel Holyoak.
They spoke to actor A J Powell, who played the Genie of the Bling in Aladdin and the Twankeys, the Christmas show which has only just finished at the Theatre Royal.
They also interviewed dancers Danielle Mullan and Harry Hughes and The Press theatre critic, Charles Hutchinson.
Miss Holyoak said the next edition of The Buzz, including the article about the panto stars, would be published just before Easter.
