Darwen's Women’s World Day of Prayer to take place
DARWEN’S Women’s World Day of Prayer group invites the people of the town to join them on Friday, March 7, at St Peter’s Church in a service prepared by women from Egypt.
The group will hold two services this year, the first at 2pm with the choirs of St Cuthbert’s and St Joseph’s schools, and the second at 7.30pm, to give working people a chance to participate.
The speaker at both services will be Coun Karimeh Foster and there will be refreshments, including Egyptian cakes, after both services.
