Steve Hibbs is stepping down as the Market Traders’ Federation Bridport branch chairman after many years in the post.
Bridport Town Council clerk Bob Gillis thanked him for all his hard work and paid tribute to the market traders for playing such a key part in the economic health and vibrancy of the town.
Mr Gillis said: “Even with the very difficult weather conditions of the past year, the market continued to do well.”
Mr Hibbs is being replaced by Roy Gregory.
