The other Sunday my road was empty of traffic, yet I was unable to park outside my property unless I paid again.

The shared car I use was parked outside the Old Connaught Road School, some distance away.

How can this be allowed to continue? Why is it allowed?

We pay our permits and are expected to pay yet again to park outside our homes.

Why doesn’t the council consider its residents for a change? Give us shared parking.

Come the next elections the Green Party will be made to pay for its follies. The next plan is take away even more parking spaces (in my area only 150) by adding more recycling bins.

All that happens to the recycling is it ends up in landfill sites. They just want us to sort if for them so it goes to the correct landfill site.
