A HOUSE in Northfleet was damaged by fire after a cooker was left on in the kitchen.
Firefighters were called at 12.15pm on Thursday, November 23 to deal with the fire in Greenhill Road.
The kitchen was totally destroyed the upstairs and downstairs were damaged by smoke. Nobody was hurt.
A spokesman for Kent Thames-Side Fire Brigade said: We got it under control within 45 minutes.
