A SUSPECTED ram-raid has caused extensive damage to the front of a Southampton shop.
The incident at the Co-op on Wodehouse Road is the second to happen overnight following a similar incident at the Sainsbury's on West End Road, Bitterne.
Pictures from the scene show smashed glass and police tape cordoning off the area.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokeswoman said: "At 2.13am this morning officers were called to an attempted burglary at Co-op, Wodehouse Road, Bitterne.
"A vehicle had been driven into the front of the store.
"No entry was gained to the store and the car was driven away.
"Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting 44180169266."
