A MAJOR fault with Network Rail signalling systems is causing disruption for rail passengers this morning.
Trains between Woking and Surbiton are unable to run to Waterloo.
This includes the Weymouth and Bournemouth route to London Waterloo and the Salisbury to Waterloo mainline.
Disruption is expected until at least 4pm.
A spokesperson for South Western Railway said: "We are advising all passengers who travel on the mainline, and suburban services that run through these stations, not to travel and to check southwesternrailway.com for updates.
⚠️ *UPDATE 24/10* Due to track circuit failures between Woking and Surbiton fewer trains are able to run on all lines. We are advising all passengers who travel on the mainline, and suburban services that run through these stations, not to travel; Expected until 16:00 24/10.
