THIS dramatic video shows flames engulfing a car on the side of a Hampshire motorway.
Fire crews were called to the blazing car on the M27 last night.
The vehicle was being driven along the eastbound carriageway between junction 2 at Ower and junction 3 at Nursling when it burst into flames.
Crews from Totton and Redbridge fire stations were called out just before 9pm.
A Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service (HFRS) spokesman said the car was severely damaged in the blaze but no-one was hurt.
HFRS received 12 calls about the incident. Crews were on the scene for about 40 minutes.
