TWO members of the organisation that runs the New Forest National Park have stepped down.
Richard Frampton and Pat Wyeth were both presented with farewell gifts at the annual meeting of the Lymington-based National Park Authority (NPA).
Mr Frampton was presented with a photograph of two affordable homes built on land he donated.
NPA chairman Oliver Crosthwaite-Eyre told him: "We will miss your down-to-earth guidance and I will miss your booming voice, repartee and laughter."
In return Mr Frampton presented Mr Crosthwaite-Eyre with a bottle of Dickie's Dribble, the cider he makes and sells at farmers' markets in the New Forest area.
Mrs Wyeth, who was chairman of the NPA's planning committee, was presented with a photograph of the New Forest.
Thanking her for her years of service Mr Crosthwaite-Eyre said: "I was told when I joined, 'If you want to know anything ask Pat first - she knows everything'.
"You have been such a diligent member over 14 years (and were) particularly active on the planning committee. We are enormously grateful for all you have done."
Mr Frampton and Mrs Wyeth are both former members of New Forest District Council.
They have been replaced by two current members of the authority, Cllr Caroline Rackham, who represents Totton South, and Cllr Sue Bennison, who represents Marchwood.
