A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after an accident in the New Forest.
He was also detained on suspicion of intent to supply a controlled class B drug following the collision, which occured just before 7.30am.
The accident caused rush-hour delays in the area.
It occurred at Deerleap Lane, Colbury, between its junctions with the A35 Hunters Hill and Longdown. The road was closed in both directions but later reopened.
A police spokesman said: "We were called at 7.26am to a report of a single-vehicle collision in Deerleap Lane.
"No injuries were reported.
"A 22-year-old man from Blackfield has been arrested on suspicion on driving a motor vehicle when his alcohol level was above the limit, an on suspicion of intent to supply a class B controlled drug.
"He is currently in police custody."
