POLICE are appealing for information following a public order incident outside a Hampshire supermarket.
It happened as shoppers stood in a queue outside Tesco Metro in Wells Place, Eastleigh.
A 25-year-old woman was approached by another woman who made a homophobic remark.
The same woman then made comments to other people in the queue.
She is described as 5ft 2in with short dark hair. She was wearing a black coat and grey pyjama bottoms with dark spots.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, which took place last Thursday at around 12.50pm.
