PLANS to upgrade a New Forest bungalow are likely to be approved today - despite objections to the scheme.
Members of the district council are being recommended to support an application to "remodel" a three-bedroom property at Buckstone Close in Everton.
Hordle Parish Council is urging NFDC to reject the application.
In a letter to the district council it describes the proposed development as out of character, adding: "There are significant objections from neighbours, including about overlooking. The proposal as large and overbearing."
But a report to district councillors says the plot is large enough to accommodate the proposed extensions.
It adds; "The property is currently a three-bedroom dwelling and the extensions and rearrangement of the floorplans would create a four-bedroom dwelling, with all the bedrooms being at first floor level.
"As such the proposed extensions would not be creating an overly large property in this setting."
