A PROBE has been launched to find the cause of a fire at a Southampton care home.
Firefighters rushed to Graylings Court - a supported living complex just off Regents Park Road as smoke billowed from a first-floor window.
Crews from Redbridge and Saint Mary's Fire Stations were on the scene shortly after 8am on Saturday.
A thermal imaging camera and extension ladder were used.
Meanwhile, paramedics and police were on standby.
All "persons were accounted for" and a fire investigation is now underway.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Services said: "At 8.01am on Saturday 26th September, we were informed of a fire at Beechfield Court, Southampton.
"Smoke was seen issuing from a first-floor window of a domestic dwelling.
"Appliances from Redbridge Fire Station and Saint Marys Fire Station attended the scene.
"Four breathing apparatus, one hose reel, a thermal imaging camera and an extension ladder was used. All persons were accounted for.
"The cause of the fire is unknown. A fire investigation is to take place to establish the cause."
Commenting at the time a police spokesperson said: "We were called at 7.58am this morning to a report of a fire at Beechfield Court. Officers attended. It is not being treated as suspicious."
