ACTION is being taken to remove the burnt-out wreck of a car dumped at a skate park.
A car has been torched and left at Freespace Skatepark in Chandler's Ford.
The charred vehicle has been at the site off Stoney Croft Rise since last week, according to skaters.
However, a spokesperson for Eastleigh Borough Council says the council is aware of the abandoned vehicle and is now arranging for its removal.
The skatepark will then be repaired.
As previously reported, Eastleigh residents and bikers, Aiden Browning and Tyler Hathaway, both 14, "could not believe it" when they saw the wreck.
Aiden said: "I come down here once a week and want it removed. It's blocking the park so people can't use it."
Dad, Dax Browning added: "It's a shock. It's a disappointment that someone would do this to a public place which gives kids something to do."
