TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of theft and drugs offences in Southampton.
They were detained at Howards Grove after police stopped a black Astra after it was seen to be speeding.
A police spokesman said: "A 22-year-old man from Southampton has been arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, theft from a motor vehicle, possession of what is believed to be Class A and B drugs, no insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
"Another man aged 22, also from Southampton, has been arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle, possession of an offensive weapon and possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.
"They both remain in police custody at this time."
