THEY'RE the family firm using their fleet of cargo bikes to make Southampton a greener city.

David Munday, from Colden Common, runs the city hub of Zedify, which offers zero emission deliveries in a number of urban spots across the UK.

They describe themselves as a network of city logistics operators on a mission to make our cities nicer places to be.

David told the Daily Echo: "We run e cargo bikes all over the city with riders paid the real living wage.

"Zero emission deliveries are making Southampton’s air cleaner and removing diesel delivery vans from the city centre. We work with local businesses for first and last mile delivery.

"Plus, our family business invests significantly in sustainable transport."

The firm started leading the charge to transform Southampton with zero emissions delivery back in 2019.

And business is booming thanks to Covid making home deliveries from city retailers ever more popular.

Zedify deliver all over the city and are working with companies of every size.

Their team of couriers love the cleaner and faster way of getting around the city, using cycle routes, biking across The Common and out to residential areas.

Zedify say their system has been designed to make urban deliveries better.

This starts with offering customers deliveries at great prices with narrow time slots, which are active, and a great doorstep experience from riders.

But they're also better for the city, taking over deliveries typically made by diesel van or truck, resulting in cleaner, quieter, less congested streets.

Free trials for businesses are available and cycle couriers are also being sought by the firm.
