POLICE are appealing for witnesses following the theft of a bronze horse sculpture.
The theft occurred between midnight and 6.30am today at a property in South Baddesley Road, Lymington.
A police spokesperson said the sculpture had sentimental value to the owner.
They added: "Access to the back garden was gained using a fence surrounding the property and we believe that two or more people may have been involved due to the weight of the statue.
Did you see what happened or were in the area at the time?
"Have you seen this sculpture? Or perhaps you been offered it via online shopping platforms or auction sites?"
Anyone with information can contact Hampshire police on 101, quoting crime reference number 44210079642.
