TWO people have been arrested on suspicion of multiple driving offences after a police vehicle was rammed.
Officers say a man and a woman were detained at Heather Road, Blackfield, following an incident involving a stolen car.
Two people inside the vehicle left the area immediately after the collision but were later arrested.
Posting on social media Hardley Neighbourhood Policing Team praised "great work" by response and patrol colleagues from Lyndhurst as well as neighbourhood officers.
The man and woman were detained after a vehicle failed to stop and "rammed into" a police vehicle.
A police spokesperson said: "A member of the public made a suspicious person report which led to arrests being made and the recovery of a stolen vehicle."
The spokesperson said enquiries were ongoing.
