MORE than 60 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Hampshire in 24 hours.

Public Health England figures - as recorded on the Government website at 4.48pm today - show that 61 more people have tested positive for the virus in a 24 hour period.

Yesterday there were 88 new cases recorded.

Across the county, there has been a total of 91,549 positive tests since the start of the pandemic in March 2020 - around 6.65 per cent of the county's population.

  • Basingstoke and Deane: 5 (8,120 in total since start of pandemic)
  • East Hampshire: 1 (4,823)
  • Eastleigh: 6 (5,759)
  • Fareham: 2 (5,205)
  • Gosport: 0 (3,827)
  • Hart: 11 (4,281)
  • Havant: 4 (6,996)
  • New Forest: 4 (6,101)
  • Portsmouth: 3 (14,173)
  • Rushmoor: 5 (7,691)
  • Southampton: 14 (14,399)
  • Test Valley: 5 (5,283)
  • Winchester: 1 (4,890)
