A HAMPSHIRE motorist died his car crashed into a parked vehicle.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident, which took place in Shirley Avenue, Southsea, just after 5.30pm yesterday.
A Chrysler Grand Voyager collided with a parked Volkswagen Polo.
A police spokesperson said: "The driver of the Chrysler, a man in his 50s from Southsea, was pronounced dead at the scene.
"His next of kin have been informed and a file is being prepared for the coroner."
