NHS workers in Hampshire have been invited to apply for free tickets to attend Katherine Jenkins or Cafe Mambo concerts this weekend.

The open-air concert by classical music superstar Katherine Jenkins forms part of the charity event A Celebration of Speed which takes place this weekend at Embley near Romsey.

Cafe Mambo, the iconic global electronic and house music brand, will be bringing a slice of Ibiza to the stunning surroundings at Embley for an open-air one-day festival boasting a line-up of superstar DJs.

Big name stars Hannah Wants, BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howard, Lovely Laura & Ben Santiago, Bajau and Jamiroqui’s Derrick Mckenzie will be taking to the decks this Saturday, 21st August.

Event organiser Mike Turnbull said: “We’re all so thankful to everyone within the NHS for the incredible work that they do, particularly during the difficult times over the past 18 months. With that in mind we’ve decided to provide a number of free tickets for NHS staff who’d like to enjoy a Katherine Jenkins Proms concert at Embley on Sunday 22nd August.

“Tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis but we hope to welcome as many NHS heroes and a guest as possible to enjoy an amazing evening out in stunning surroundings.”

To apply for tickets, NHS workers are asked to register using their NHS email address by visiting: woorise.com/muddymarketing/nhs-tickets-cafe-mambo-in-the-park-hampshire.

The event aims to raise much needed funds for children’s hospice Naomi House & Jacksplace and Race Against Dementia, the charity founded by F1 legend Sir Jackie Stewart.
