THE SEARCH for a missing Southampton teen has now entered its second day.
A teenage boy called Marcel was last seen entering the River Itchen near Cobden Bridge shortly before midnight on Sunday.
The 15-year-old is still missing despite extensive police searches of the St Denys area of Southampton.
Throughout Monday, a search and rescue boat could be seen scouring a stretch of water between Cobden Bridge and Northam Bridge.
Meanwhile, a riverfront pathway behind Pettinger Gardens was taped off.
A drone was even launched into the air as part of the search effort.
Police remain in the area today carrying out further enquiries.

Marcel has been described as white, slim, around 5ft 9ins tall, with short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a dark coat, black Nike Air Jordan trainers with red markings, grey tracksuit bottoms and a black rucksack.
Police are now pleading for anyone with any information which could help locate him to come forward.
