A POLICE chase involving armed officers began after a stolen van was located in a Hampshire village.
The Ford Transit was taken from Winchester and subsequently tracked to Wickham, where people in a vehicle with cloned plates sped off.
The vehicle was stopped and four men arrested on suspicion of going equipped, failing to stop and other offences.
A number of police vehicles including unmarked and vans are reported to have been involved in the operation.
Police tweeted: "A stolen Transit from the Eastleigh area was tracked to Wickham.
"On police arrival a car on cloned plates made off. This was brought to a stop. Four males were detained."
