Lords Hill Way in Southampton closed by police

Lords Hill Way is blocked off at its junction with Coxford Road. 

• Lords Hill Way reopens following crash

Police officers are on the scene and motorists are being forced to find alternative routes.

However, the closure is only affecting the westbound carriageway. 

Diversions are in place on the 17 because of an accident. we can't use lordshill way at the moment. from lordshill to town we will be using aldermoor road and springford road to get to hospital. then normal route from there. sorry for any inconvenience.

Bluestar bus operator has reported that its number 17 service is being diverted.
