GARAGES could be demolished to make way for a modern home if planning is approved.
An application submitted to Eastleigh Borough Council details plans to build a three-bedroom house in Hamble.
The site, which is next to Crowsport Estate, is classed as a conservation area and is currently occupied by a series of dilapidated single and double garages.

If the application is successful, a part single-storey and part two-storey detached, "attractive" Art Deco house will be built.
It will feature a first-floor, south-facing roof terrace, a single garage, and cycle storage facilities.
There will also be car parking spaces on site.
The consultation period for this application ends on May 27 and Eastleigh Borough Council is due to make its decision on June 23.
