AN APPLICATION to evict an unauthorised encampment at Southampton park has been submitted.
Southampton City Council has applied for a warrant to evict caravans parked at Mansel Park in Millbrook.
It is listed for a hearing on Tuesday, June 28, in Southampton County Court.
The court has confirmed that the papers have now been issued and these will be served on the occupants of the encampment.

Around 24 caravans were pitched on the park last week and five caravans remain.
Councillor Sally Goodfellow-Spicer said: “Residents are continuing to be advised to report any anti-social behaviour and/or criminality to the police, myself and Councillor Cathie McEwing have been working with both council staff and the police to ensure the issue is resolved as quickly as possible.
"We will be working with our staff in parks and open spaces to review the site and hopefully prevent future unauthorised encampments on Mansel Park.”
