A WOMAN has been arrested as part of a murder probe into the death of a teenager.

The 35-year-old from Southampton has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder after a 19-year-old was attacked in Langhorn Road.

She remains in custody along with four men previously arrested on suspicion of murder.

The 19-year-old died after being found with serious injuries on Sunday. 

He suffered a puncture wound to his lower back and abdomen and was taken to hospital where he was later pronounced dead. 

Today's is the sixth arrest made by officers investigating the case.

A 46-year-old man from Bursledon was also arrested on suspicion of murder and assisting an offender. 

He has since been released on conditional bail until August 21. 

Langhorn Road was cordoned off for a few days following the attack but has since reopened. 

On Monday, police were seen forcing entry into a house in Harefield.

They have since confirmed this was part of their murder investigation.
